The first week of October will have Ponheary and the PLF team criss-crossing northwest Cambodia as we head to some of the most rural and poor areas of the country to deliver school supplies.  We’ll be running up the miles over a seven day period. These awesome maps show you where we’re headed.

We’ll see more than 2,500 students from six primary and secondary schools in two provinces.  Our stops are marked by the blue dots and labeled in purple.

A wider, regional view:

The longest of the trips, the one that will take us well of the beaten path down bumpy roads for three hours, is our trip to Koh Ker and Srayang in Preah Vihear Province.  We’ll be hauling bicycles, bags, classroom supplies and more to each location we go to.

It’s a long week that we’ve been working months to prepare for.  But, it’s also one of the most rewarding weeks of the year for everyone involved—the students, PLF team members and donors alike.  We’re ready to kick off the 2012-2013 school year!  Of course, we’ll take you along with us as we provide updates throughout the week.
