Previously, Cambodia did not have modern techniques for farming. For many years, farmers in Cambodia have used cows and water buffaloes to plow and harrow and drag the carts. To improve farming, modern equipment such as tractors can come from other countries.
Many farmers want new farm equipment, but it is expensive and they cannot afford it. Gasoline and tractors can also be bad for the environment and cause damage to the fields and the water and the air. To have better crops farmers should learn how to use Cambodian farming techniques in improved ways. This is best for our environment and for our people.
