In Ponheary Ly Foundation’s biggest year yet, you allowed us to reach our students in ways we never imagined before. Thank you, yes we mean YOU, for all you did last year. Here are some of the ways you changed our students’ world in 2013.

Arrival at school; lots of smiles and friendly faces. Immunization day (measles and rubella)! Scared kids were in the line holding their arms and grinning nervously. A little girl came to first aid with an insect bite on her foot; swelling and heat and pain!

This is an event that the students at Chey School prepare for the competition for the SPELLING B. They are very excited about that event. Because that is a new game and it also a competition to find who is the best spelling too. However there is so short time to practice the words for this game. (more…)

Year by year many people are killed by traffic accidents on the roads in Cambodia. Traffic accidents are the most common types of accidents in Cambodia. They have made us so scared that we wonder why they don’t try to reduce traffic accidents. (more…)

Students not only learn in their class and from the teacher, but they also learn from other people. It is more opportunity to get a variety of knowledge such as working in groups, by researching, or joining the debate. All of these concepts are very necessary for improving our general knowledge. The worldwide PLF family did it! We’ve now officially brought in 50 new students to our upper-secondary scholarship program this year, and as of today, all of them are funded to go to public school. (more…)
