GET REAL: Knar Computer Lab

The process for building a computer lab out in the countryside has a lot of moving parts and is filled with so many steps, that at many points we wonder if we’ll ever meet success. This has been especially true at Knar School, the last of PLF schools to get their computer lab.

The Delight that is Summer School at Knar

There is no squeal of delight as the school year comes to an end here in Cambodia.  Instead, of the 400 students at Knar school, about 120 arrived well ahead of start time on the first day of summer school and they keep turning up every day as summer progresses.

Doors are Open for Enrolment to Srayang’s First-Ever Public Technology Center!

Ponheary Ly Foundation Canada recently hosted a community launch in Srayang of the new computer school, complete with inaugural speeches and cutting of the red ribbon. There was so much community anticipation of the event that the school’s first classes are fully booked and there is a waiting list of students eager to have a chance to become part of Srayang’s fledgling “computer geek” network.

GET REAL: A Few Thoughts as I Move Back to the U.S.

Ponheary Ly Foundation Adds Fifth Public School
