Tchey School Gets Tech Savvy, Major Changes Underway

Three Questions: Sotheara Ly

Sotheara is our IT instructor at our computer lab in Siem Reap. She’s also Ponheary’s sister.  She has been deaf since the age of 14 but has never let this get in her way, teaching herself how to use computers and run a computer lab. Mapping a Massive Week at PLF

Big Changes Improve Tchey School Computer Lab

Big projects are underway with our computer programs in preparation for the return of students on October 1st. Our computer teacher, Sotheara Ly, who has been teaching at our Siem Reap lab for the last year, has led our improvement of the Tchey School computer lab. She’s updated Microsoft Office, the Khmer typing software, and anti-virus programs. (more…)

Activities at Tchey School

The Tchey School held their monthly activities on 14 June 2012. This included a soccer match between the Tchey School team and the Banteay Meanchey Team as well as a local Tchey School Khmer reading competition amongst the top 3 students in each of the 5 classes. (more…)
